VEHICLES OF CHANGE

Frank Vessel's Chevrolet C10 pickup is one of many vehicles in SCORE racing history that have spawned new technologies and eventually led to the modern SCORE Trophy Truck. Owned and restored by Dennis McCarthy, this truck was well-known for ushering BFGoodrich Tires into Baja racing. But upon closer inspection of the truck, its current owner points out unique ideas and technology that, at the time, brought greater performance and off-road capabilities to off-road racing vehicles.
