The 35-year-old Ensenada native brings a wealth of experience to the SCORE Trophy Truck class, highlighted by his 2019 SCORE Baja 1000 overall championship where he conquered the legendary 1000-mile peninsula course. This historic victory demonstrated his ability to master the grueling demands of Baja California's unforgiving desert terrain over extended distances.
Ampudia's racing pedigree runs deep, having competed alongside co-driver Aaron Ampudia in campaigns that have consistently challenged the sport's elite. Aside from a grueling SCORE San Felipe 250 race course, teams in the SCORE Trophy Truck divisions had a hard battle within a short 250.06 miles to win their respective classes. If you could sum up the King Shock’s 37th SCORE San Felipe 250 race in one word, it would be fast. This year’s race saw 20 racers average more than 60 miles per hour over the racecourse. It also delivered a record-high average speed for the overall winner, Alan Ampudia, who steered his Mason-built all-wheel-drive Ford Raptor to the Overall and Unlimited Trophy Truck class win with an average speed of 70.71 miles per hour.
