Racing alongside his father Robby Gordon in the Pro UTV Forced Induction class, Gordon demonstrated exceptional composure and patience when their Arctic Cat UTV suffered a broken gearbox that sidelined them for several hours in the brutal Baja peninsula.
The Orange, California native's historic finish exemplifies the next generation of Gordon racing excellence, following in the tire tracks of his father's illustrious career and grandfather "Baja Bob" Gordon's legendary desert racing legacy. Despite mechanical challenges that would intimidate seasoned veterans, Gordon waited patiently for repairs and climbed back behind the wheel to complete the grueling 1000-mile journey to La Paz.
This achievement represents more than just a record – it showcases Gordon's early understanding of desert racing's demanding nature and the mental fortitude required to succeed in SCORE competition.
