Brett Comiskey demonstrated his tenacity and skill as a co-driver in the grueling 2930 Can-Am Maverick X3 campaign, helping guide the team to a hard-fought 13th place finish in the prestigious PRO UTV FI class at the Baja 1000. Racing alongside veteran driver Sean Cook from Citrus Heights, California, and an international crew including Jesus Leon from Merida, Mexico, Comiskey proved his mettle in one of desert racing's most competitive categories.
The demanding 36-hour, 52-minute journey through Baja's unforgiving terrain showcased Comiskey's ability to perform under extreme conditions. Competing against 25 of the world's best UTV teams in the Forced Induction class, the crew navigated treacherous desert sections, technical rocky terrain, and high-speed silt beds while maintaining their Can-Am Maverick X3 in fighting condition.
Comiskey's contribution to the team's successful finish in the challenging PRO UTV FI division highlights his understanding of desert racing's unique demands. His experience co-driving in SCORE's premier UTV class positions him as a valuable asset for future campaigns, bringing both technical knowledge and the mental fortitude required to excel in Baja's legendary thousand-mile test of endurance and determination.
