Rising to prominence in SCORE desert racing, Gustavo Pinuelas has established himself as a formidable competitor from his base in Mexicali, Baja California. His breakthrough achievement came in 2020 when he conquered the legendary SCORE Baja 1000, capturing the class championship in SCORE Lites after battling through over 1,000 miles of Mexico's most unforgiving desert terrain.

The 2018 season marked another significant milestone in Pinuelas' career when he claimed victory in the SCORE Lites division at the prestigious 50th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500. Racing alongside co-drivers Cesar Castillo, Sergio Salgado, and Joel Serna, Pinuelas navigated the challenging 542-mile course from Ensenada to secure his place among the race's elite class winners.

Competing in one of SCORE's most competitive divisions, Pinuelas has demonstrated the skill and endurance required to excel in desert racing's premier events.
