Biography

Racing royalty flows through the veins of this accomplished NASCAR Cup Series veteran who has carved out an impressive legacy in SCORE desert racing. Son of legendary off-road star Roger Mears and nephew of four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Rick Mears, Casey brings an unmatched pedigree to the brutal terrain of Baja California.

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Mears has successfully transitioned his high-level NASCAR experience to the demanding world of desert racing, joining an elite group of celebrity racers who have embraced the unique challenges of SCORE competition. His deep motorsports background, honed through years of competing at NASCAR's highest level, provides him with the precision driving skills and strategic race management essential for conquering the punishing courses of the Baja 1000 and Baja 500.

The Mears family name carries tremendous weight in American motorsports, with Roger Mears earning recognition as a 1991 AARWBA All-America racer and desert racing legend. Casey continues this proud tradition, representing the next generation of the Mears racing dynasty while establishing his own reputation in the unforgiving desert landscape where survival and speed must be perfectly balanced.
