A proven contender in SCORE's grueling Pro Moto 30 division, this Visalia-based desert racer has established himself as a formidable force in Baja's most challenging terrain. His championship pedigree was solidified with a commanding Pro Moto 30 class victory at the 2021 SCORE Baja 1000, conquering the legendary 1,000-mile peninsula test aboard his team's Yamaha WR450.
Building on that success, he secured a hard-fought second-place finish at the 2022 SCORE Baja 500, demonstrating consistent top-tier performance in the historic desert classic. His racing resume includes multiple appearances with the 300x team, working alongside accomplished co-riders like Ryan Liebelt, Andrew Puckett, and Justin Schultz to navigate Baja's punishing courses.
The 2017 Baja 1000 showcased his resilience and determination when his team mounted an impressive comeback after falling behind by an hour. "Greg started the comeback after being down an hour. He really charged hard," noted co-rider Justin Schultz, highlighting his ability to perform under pressure when championship points are on the line.
His consistent presence in SCORE's premier events and ability to deliver podium finishes when it matters most has earned him respect throughout the desert racing community.
On the early morning start of the 3rd SCORE Baja 400 Presented by VP Racing Fuels, a line nearly 1/8-mile-long of moto and quad racers prepare themselves for the long 393.8-mile journey ahead of them. The dark is only illuminated by the large SCORE LED board that counts down the seconds for racers to begin the race off the Boulevard Costero, in front of the Riveria Pacifico Cultural Center in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. Their minds are all focused on getting to their next stop along the course in good time, avoiding the rocks, deep silt, ruts, and other competitors that may prevent them from getting there in the fastest time possible.
