Biography

Based in Cabo San Lucas, this dedicated desert racer has made his mark in SCORE's demanding Sportsman Quad division through consistent performance and determination across Baja's unforgiving terrain. Competing on Honda TRX450R machines, Marquez has demonstrated remarkable resilience in tackling both the legendary Baja 1000 and the challenging Baja 500.

His most notable achievement came during the 2019 SCORE Baja 1000, where he secured a hard-fought second place podium finish in the Sportsman Quad class. This standout performance in the world's most grueling desert race showcased his ability to navigate over 1,000 miles of brutal Baja Peninsula terrain while maintaining competitive pace against seasoned international competition.

Racing alongside experienced co-riders including Efrain Mozqueda, Daniel Tambo, and Sain Iadala, Marquez has consistently finished races that claim many competitors. His completion of multiple Baja 500 events, including a solid fourth-place finish in 2015, demonstrates the mechanical preparation and driving discipline essential for success in SCORE competition.
