Competing in the demanding Sportsman Quad division, Jimenez demonstrated exceptional endurance and tactical racing skills aboard his Honda TRX450R during that breakthrough performance.

The 2017 Baja 500 showcased Jimenez's ability to navigate the grueling 480-mile course through some of Mexico's most unforgiving desert landscape. Racing as part of team #129a alongside co-riders Fernando Lopez, Jesus Munga, Daniel Salazar, Miguel Olivas, and Jesus Lopez, the crew completed the race in 15:13:08, securing their hard-earned spot on the podium among a competitive field of twelve starters.
