Building on his championship pedigree in SCORE desert racing, this veteran competitor from Simi Valley continues to demonstrate his mastery of Baja's most challenging terrain. His crowning achievement came in 2017 when he claimed the SCORE Baja 500 class championship in SCORE Lites, showcasing his ability to navigate the grueling 500-mile course through Ensenada's unforgiving desert landscape against fierce international competition.
Throughout his career, he has consistently competed at the highest levels of SCORE competition, taking on legendary courses that have tested the world's elite desert racers. His championship run coincided with one of the most competitive eras in SCORE history, when the series attracted 404 entries from 44 U.S. states and 28 countries for the prestigious Baja 1000 finale.
Known for his technical precision and strategic race management, he has earned respect among his peers for his ability to maintain competitive pace while preserving equipment over the marathon distances that define SCORE desert racing. His consistent presence in the sport's most demanding classes demonstrates both his driving skill and his deep understanding of the unique challenges presented by Baja California's rugged terrain, making him a formidable competitor in any SCORE event.
The fact that the course was a bit shorter in distance than the 2021 SCORE San Felipe 250, didn't mean it was any easier for the car and truck classes. Most drivers, when asked, described the 277-mile course as rough, full of whoops, and full of opportunities to get stuck. Nevertheless, car and truck classes came out in full force to take on the first race of the SCORE season, and to once again enjoy the fans being present to cheer them on. Read More
