This veteran off-road racer from California's Central Valley brings decades of desert racing experience to the SCORE circuit, competing primarily in the demanding Pro Moto 30 division. Aguilar showcased his endurance and technical skills during the 50th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500, where he piloted his #323x Yamaha YZ450FX through the grueling 541-mile course alongside teammates Mark Henderson, Scott Macias, Sam Nava, and Andrew Terry.
The Pro Moto 30 class represents one of desert racing's most competitive divisions, reserved for riders over 30 years old who tackle the same brutal terrain as their younger counterparts. During that milestone Baja 500, Aguilar's team faced dramatically altered course conditions that challenged even the most experienced racers. "The course was nothing like when we pre-ran," noted fellow competitor Ryan Liebelt. "It was very, very different. The track was silty and it was rough and it changed a lot."
Aguilar's commitment to the sport exemplifies the dedication required for SCORE International competition, where racers traverse Mexico's Baja Peninsula across deserts, canyons, and mountains. His participation in SCORE's premier events demonstrates the passion that drives desert racing's tight-knit community of international competitors who return year after year to test themselves against Baja's unforgiving landscape.
#87 Overall and #6 in Pro Moto 30
