Based in the scenic mountains of Tahoe City, California, this veteran desert racer has carved out an impressive legacy in SCORE's most challenging competitions. His crowning achievement came at the 2017 SCORE Baja 1000, where he captured the Class 8 championship in dramatic fashion, overcoming early mechanical setbacks to claim victory in the legendary peninsula race. Driving the #801 Chevy C1500 alongside co-drivers John Swift, Tony McCormack, and Randy Salmont, he battled through what he described as "the toughest off-road race I've ever been in" during his 150-200 race career.

The 2017 triumph marked his fourth Baja 1000 class victory, adding to previous wins in 1987, 1997, and 2003, establishing him among SCORE's most successful Class 8 competitors. His connection to the sport runs deep, having previously served as a GMC factory-supported driver before transitioning to privateer efforts.
