A veteran Class 1 competitor with over two decades of SCORE desert racing experience, this El Paso-based racer has consistently demonstrated his ability to conquer Baja's most challenging terrain. His impressive résumé includes multiple peninsula runs and strong finishes in the sport's most prestigious events.
At the historic 50th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 in 2017, he piloted his #103 Tatum-Chevy through the grueling 1,134-mile course from Ensenada to La Paz, finishing 8th in the ultra-competitive Class 1 division. Racing alongside co-drivers Todd Romano, Ryan Millen, T.J. Flores, and his son Christopher Saenz, the team overcame the notorious challenges of peninsula racing to complete one of desert racing's ultimate tests of endurance.
His Class 1 campaigns have showcased remarkable consistency in unlimited open-wheel competition, regularly fielding competitive Tatum-Chevy entries against some of the sport's most accomplished drivers.
