Biography

Racing in the unforgiving terrain of Baja California's desert courses, Sterlyn Rigsby has established himself as a formidable competitor in SCORE International's premier off-road racing series. This Texas-based racer has consistently demonstrated his endurance and skill across multiple challenging events, including the legendary Baja 1000 and Baja 500.

Rigsby's most notable achievement came during the 2013 Baja 500, where he secured a class victory in the highly competitive Pro Moto 40 division alongside teammates Mike Prunty and Eric Halgath. This triumph highlighted his ability to excel in one of desert racing's most demanding motorcycle categories, competing against seasoned veterans across the sport's most prestigious venues.

His racing resume extends beyond that breakthrough victory, with multiple strong finishes in the grueling Baja 1000, where he has competed in the Pro Moto 40 class in 2014 and 2015. These appearances in both premier SCORE events demonstrate his commitment to tackling the sport's ultimate challenges, from technical rocky sections to high-speed desert washes.

Operating from his home base in Shiner, Texas, Rigsby continues to represent the determination and grit that defines SCORE desert racing, consistently proving himself against international competition on Mexico's most challenging courses.
