Competing primarily in the Class 1/2-1600 division, he brings local knowledge and desert racing passion to every event from his base in Cabo San Lucas.
His most notable SCORE Baja 1000 appearance came in 2017's historic 50th Anniversary race, where he served as co-driver for Juan Sandez in car #1640, tackling the grueling 1,134-mile course from Ensenada to La Paz. Despite facing the typical challenges that make the Baja 1000 legendary - from mechanical issues to navigation difficulties across varied terrain - the team persevered through the night, ultimately crossing the finish line among the 58.66 percent of starters who completed the epic journey.
Competing in the VW-powered Class 1/2-1600 category, he represents the grassroots spirit of desert racing, where determination often matters more than horsepower. The 2017 Baja 1000 showcased international talent from 44 U.S. states and 28 countries, making every finish a significant achievement in one of motorsport's most challenging environments.
