La Jolla, CA - #48
A veteran competitor in SCORE Trophy Truck competition, Jimmy Nuckles brings decades of desert racing experience to the sport's most demanding challenges. Co-driving with Chris Miller from La Jolla, the duo has tackled some of off-road racing's most prestigious events, including the legendary Baja 500 where they've consistently demonstrated their ability to navigate the punishing 500-plus mile course through Baja California's unforgiving terrain.
Their partnership has proven particularly effective in the unlimited Trophy Truck class, where they've piloted Toyota Tundra racers against the sport's elite field. At the 2018 BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500, Nuckles and Miller showcased their endurance and mechanical prowess, successfully completing the grueling 542-mile course that claimed nearly half the starting field. Their 15th-place finish in the highly competitive Trophy Truck division demonstrated their ability to maintain race pace while avoiding the mechanical failures and crashes that eliminated many competitors.
Based in Brawley, California, Nuckles represents the dedication and persistence that defines SCORE desert racing, where finishing these marathon events requires equal parts speed, strategy, and survival instinct across some of North America's most challenging off-road terrain.
