A dedicated desert racing competitor from Dana Point, California, Matt Drever has built an impressive career in SCORE International off-road racing, specializing in the demanding SCORE Lites division. Racing a Penhall-built machine, Drever has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the sport's most challenging events, including multiple attempts at the legendary Baja 1000.

The 61-year-old racer assembles strong co-driver teams for his desert racing campaigns, working with skilled navigators like Dave Norman from San Clemente, Jake Batulus from Lake Forest, and Jeff Alter from Laguna Beach. This collaborative approach reflects his understanding that success in long-distance desert racing requires both driving skill and strategic team coordination.

Drever's participation in the grueling Baja 1000 showcases his dedication to SCORE's premier event, where he competes against some of the world's best desert racers in the competitive SCORE Lites class. The SCORE Lites division features VW-powered vehicles with strict engine displacement limits, making it one of the most technically challenging classes in desert racing.

Based in Southern California's racing hub, Drever represents the passionate privateer racers who form the backbone of SCORE International competition, bringing both determination and technical expertise to every race.
