His crowning achievement came at the legendary Baja 1000, where he piloted his Honda TRX450R to a hard-fought 4th place finish in the ultra-competitive Sportsman Quads class, crossing the finish line after 31 hours and 17 minutes of relentless desert racing.
The San Quintin native's Baja 1000 campaign showcased the true spirit of desert racing teamwork, as he partnered with an experienced crew including Fidel Gonzalez from Vizcaino, Efrain and Efren Vazquez from Guerrero Negro, and Carlos Lopez from San Felipe. Together, they navigated the peninsula's most challenging terrain, from rocky mountain passes to sandy washes, demonstrating the endurance and mechanical reliability that defines successful SCORE competition.
