    ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico — Coverage in text, images and video previewing next week’s season-opening 33rd SCORE San Felipe 250 along with several breakout pieces on the legendary, re-launched Ford Ranger are bathed in the spotlight this month in Vol. 5, No. 3 of the highly-acclaimed SCORE Journal digital online magazine.

In addition to the preview section of the season-opener of the four-race 2019 SCORE World Desert Championship, there is a large special section covering the re-launch of the iconic Ford Ranger, including some of its SCORE history. The SCORE Journal digital magazine, reaching an average of nearly 2 million unique viewers per issue with an average engagement time of over 31 minutes is a major element in the continuing media expansion that SCORE has implemented. The continually revamped SCORE website also generates an average of over 2 million monthly unique viewers.
SPECIAL NUMBERS
The SCORE Journal digital magazine’s November 2018 (SCORE Baja 1000) issue delivered a record 2.8 million unique viewers/readers. The Spanish version of that SCORE Journal issue recorded 224,628 unique viewers/readers.
The SCORE website for the week of the 51st SCORE Baja 1000 in November of last year had a very strong 1.2 million unique viewers.
The newly produced live streaming format recorded 294,994 live views on race day during its debut at the 50th SCORE Baja 500 in June of last year.
INSIDE VOL. 5, NO. 3
Vol. 5, No. 3 of the SCORE Journal is once again filled with numerous interesting worth-reading features, stories, captivating images, exciting videos and several news items.
This edition is anchored around an exciting current and historical look at the SCORE San Felipe 250 including last year’s overall winner Rob MacCachren, last year’s overall motorcycle winners Justin Morgan/Mark Samuels and last year’s overall UTV winner Wayne Matlock. Also in the pre-race coverage are the official race schedule of events, the official course map and some of the historical data from the ‘youngest’ race of the SCORE Baja Triple Crown.

ABC TV IN 2019
SCORE has confirmed that the 2019 SCORE World Desert Championship will be televised on the ABC TV family of networks, marking the first time back on the ABC network since the 1967 and 1968 coverage of the Baja 1000 on ABC’s old Wide World of Sports show.
The one-hour shows on the 33rd SCORE San Felipe 250, 51st SCORE Baja 500 and the 52nd SCORE Baja 1000 will be televised as part of ABC’s World of X Games year-long programming. Presented by SCORE sponsors Monster Energy and BFGoodrich Tires, the ABC World of X Games series profiles iconic action sports figures and also highlights athletes, artists, event previews and recaps.
SCORE also announced that the inaugural Lucerna SCORE Baja 400 next September will air as a one-hour special on ESPN TV, also on the World of X Games programming.
Hall of Fame racer Cameron Steele’s popular ‘Trail of Missions’ show has been shown as part of ABC’s World of X Games series for the past several years.
All of the SCORE race coverage shows continue to air internationally in over 20 countries in Europe, Asia and South America via syndication and ESPN International.
