LAS VEGAS, NEV., USA—It is showtime in Las Vegas once again as the vastly popular SCORE Baja 1000 Experience desert racing exhibit returns again this year to be among the features in this week’s annual SEMA Show to be held Tuesday through Friday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Experience is a fitting prelude to November’s Granddaddy of All Desert Races, the BFGoodrich Tires 55th SCORE Baja 1000, presented by 4 Wheel Parts.
The SCORE Baja 1000 is at the pinnacle of motorsports as the most iconic, oldest, prestigious, toughest and longest continuously held desert race in the world. The legendary event will be held Nov. 15-20 in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
WE’RE BACK
After being indoors last year, the SEMA SCORE Baja 1000 Experience has returned outdoors like it was during its first five years (2014-2018) that it was part of the massive automotive industry trade show. This year’s SEMA SCORE Baja 1000 Experience will be located outside West of and adjacent to the new West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The display will feature vintage vehicles as well as several current race trucks/cars/utvs/motorcycles that compete in the four-race SCORE World Desert Championship held annually in Baja California, Mexico.
Another of the elements in the dynamic Experience is the colorful the official SCORE Transporter, the massive SCOREvision LED screen showing highlights of SCORE races as well as SCORE movies like Dust to Glory, the SCORE start/finish digital arch and the colorful SCORE Store with a variety of SCORE merchandise available.
The location of the SCORE Baja 1000 Experience outside of the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. It will also be used as part of the site for the open-to-the public, end-of-show extravaganza called SEMA Ignited on Friday evening (Nov. 4). The official SEMA After Party will be held from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. PT, tickets are on sale and information is available at www.SEMAignited.com.
