    ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico—Starting at 7 p.m. (PT) on Saturday, the 2022 SCORE Awards Night Gala will be streamed live on the SCORE website at www.SCORE-International.com.

     SCORE International will celebrate at the popular San Diego Air & Space Museum at the historic Balboa Park as the event will commemorate the 2022 SCORE World Desert Championship.

     At the San Diego Air & Space Museum, over 500 SCORE racers, family, friends, crews, sponsors and media will bask in the sunny Southern California spotlight as the SCORE Awards Night Gala will honor the history and fame of the name which is the gold standard for desert racing worldwide while honoring the four-race 2022 SCORE World Desert Championship.

     The 2022 SCORE Awards Night Live show will be available on the SCORE website at www.SCORE-International.com. Following the live event, the show will air on both the SCORE You Tube channel and the SCORE TV platforms.

     The 40-page digital event commemorative program previews the show and salutes the 2022 SCORE point champions in text and images. It is available on the SCORE website.

     SCORE Off-Roadsman of the Year awards will be presented in 14 categories along with the 54 winners of the Rod Hall SCORE Milestone Awards, presented by Toyota Escondido, as well as the overall and class point champions of the four-race 2022 SCORE World Desert Championship.

      The event, with the gregarious Rat Sult as the host once again, assisted by veteran voice Dave Arnold, will also a celebration of 49 years of SCORE championship desert racing.

     The 2022 SCORE Awards Night Gala is being produced by a large group from SCORE International.

     Producer of the show is Aaron Laub of SCORE Media House while director is Alberto Luna. Hosts for the event are popular SCORE Live lead announcer Rat Sult along with veteran voice Dave Arnold.

     Dominic Clark, longtime SCORE Media Operations Director along with SCORE Vice President of Marketing and Sales Jim Ryan have developed the script for the show.

     Also providing editorial and content input have been Jose A. Grijalva, SCORE President and Race Director and Juan Tintos Funcke, SCORE General Manager.

     Coordinating and overseeing the multitude of elements overall and especially for the logistical portion of the event is Elise Norman and her support personnel including coordinator David Duenas.

     The show will include colorful videos and photographic tributes to the 2022 SCORE World Desert Championship provided by racers, BCII TV, SCORE Live and Art Eugenio, GetSomePhoto.

     The original SCORE International was founded in 1973 by the late Mickey Thompson and headed by Sal Fish from 1974 until Fish sold SCORE International on Dec. 20, 2012. SCORE continues as the premier sanctioning body in the sport of desert racing. SCORE races feature classes for Pro and Sportsman cars, trucks, UTVs, motorcycles and quads competing in the internationally-televised four-race SCORE World Desert Championship.
