    ENSENADA, Mexico — On the eve of the launch of the 2017 SCORE World Desert Championship a special preview section on next week’s 31st SCORE San Felipe 250 and visitor’s guide to the quaint San Felipe area are among the highlights of this month’s Vol. 3, No. 3 of the acclaimed SCORE Journal.
Full of interactive news and features it is now live on the SCORE website at www.SCOREInternational.comand is available through SCORE social media channels as well as a direct link at SCORE Journal, Vol. 3, No. 3.
Besides the spotlight on the 31st SCORE San Felipe 250, among the key features are the cover story on race-bred off-road shock systems. There is also an in-depth view of the 2016 SCORE Overall UTV Champion and an insightful historical feature on Jerry Penhall and his Baja adventures that appear in the magazine this year on the road to the 50th SCORE Baja 1000. As icing on the cake, a candid interview appears as well with the iconic Sal Fish, who has agreed to be the Grand Marshal for this year’s 50th SCORE Baja 1000.

This month’s issue puts the microscope in reviewing the creative an innovative off-road shock technology that makes for ‘smooth landings’ in racing as well as recreational use.
Another feature is an up close and personal story on Alonso Lopez and how he and his team never gave up during the 2016 season and came up with the Pro UTV overall and class championship. Lopez also previews his move this season to the Pro UTV Forced Injection class.
There is also a very special peek at the first official trailer for the Dana Brown’s upcoming Dust2Glory movie.
Two exclusive features in this issue are part of the monthly special on “Road to the 50th” look at the iconic SCORE Baja 1000 feature series that is part of each SCORE Journal in 2017.
One of the stories is on four-time SCORE Baja 1000 class winner Jerry Penhall who continues as a prominent open-wheel desert race car builder.
The other story in our “Road to the 50th” section is an in-depth look at the life and a revealing interview with the legendary Hall of Famer Sal Fish, former SCORE owner who is the Grand Marshal for the 50th SCORE Baja 1000.

DUST2GLORY
From award-winning documentary filmmaker Dana Brown, Dust2Glory has chronicled each of the four races in the 2016 SCORE World Desert Championship. D2G, which began shooting at the 2015 SCORE Baja 1000, continued up close and personal coverage capturing the robust racers in their amazing adventures in Mexico’s majestic Baja California peninsula through all four spectacular 2016 races. Dust2Glory is scheduled for release later this year.
WORLD OF SCORE
This series delivers a unique inside look into what racing in SCORE is all about!  Think of it as
bringing the SCORE Racer Briefing to life!  These videos, including archive footage and new interviews with current racers, will inform, educate AND entertain across every topic that is important and instrumental to the SCORE racing world.
Video topics will include: insurance and accidents, transponders and spot trackers, tracking and chasing, traveling in Baja, contingency, video, photos and social media, tech inspection, pre-running, aircraft and aerial operations, race fuel, race day/start line primer, radio operations, course markings/speedzones/checkpoints, racing and passing, the chase team, and many, many more.

This series is all about Action, Action, Action!  Each episode will feature the ultimate in high octane highlights from SCORE race action, past and present.  Tapping into the vast SCORE archive, as well as current television footage, SCORE All Out is the No. 1 source for the best in SCORE racing short-form action video highlights.   Great editing, high energy soundtracks, cool interviews – this will be the highlight series that will make all the other (pirated) stuff online look like junk.  The focus will always be on generating exciting and driving racer registration – so we’ll work to do that through timing and scheduling, including:
